THE SOUTHWEST'S LARGEST CLASSIC CHEVROLET & GMC TRUCK SHOW GETS BIGGER & BETTER.
If you’re a part of the Chevrolet & GMC classic truck community, then there’s a good chance that you’ve heard of Dino’s Git Down. For those who are unfamiliar, Dino’s Git Down is the south west’s largest classic truck show started by lifelong Chevy enthusiast – Dino Battilana. His love for Chevrolet when he came across a 1963 Chevrolet C10 shortbed service truck at the service station he was working out of at the age of 13. In 2010, Dino decided to invite a few classic truck buddies to start an annual meet in a parking lot. Last year, 2,000+ classic Chevy & GMC trucks attended Dino’s Git Down at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, CA.
For many years now, Dino’s Git Down has taken place the week after SEMA – making it an annual event for classic GM truck & car owners to attend do every year. The past few Git Downs have been held in the same area in Glendale, AZ – close to State Farm Stadium and the Westgate Entertainment District. For the amount of people that attend the event, a lot of real estate is necessary.
For 2023, UPcarparts became one of the top sponsors for Dino’s Git Down. As one of the top sponsors, we collaborated with Dino on an exclusive t-shirt for the show which was a huge hit. We also had lots of space at our booth, and we filled it up with a lineup of our close friends and supporters that had trucks equipped with UPcarparts LED lighting components. We were speechless with how many people stopped by the booth to say hi, hang out, and purchase parts & accessories.
On top of the great trucks at our booth, we couldn’t believe how many more trucks we saw throughout the show. It seems that Dino’s Git Down continues to grow in size with each passing year with no end in sight. We also noticed that there was an abundant of OBS Chevy & GMC trucks. We expect to see more of an OBS presence in the years to come.
